Somebody Help Me 6

3 MONTHS LATER...


Najla was in the car with her parents on the way home. It was silent drive. Both her parents were up front while she was in the back with her little hoodie on staring at the houses that passed by her, waiting for her's to appear. She was finaly clean, exhausted but clean. Dina promised to be waiting at her house to welcome come her, but Manal for some reason called in at the last minute to say that she wont be able to make it.

Once Dina and Najla's eyes met they ran towards eachother in tears. Although It's been a 3 months it seemed like a lifetime. They walked into the house and headed up to Najla's room. The sat on the bed, and cuddled up with the pillows.

Dina: You have no idea how much I've missed you!!

Najla: Wallah I missed you more.. It was hell !

Dina: 6b3an It's hell for gods sake its rehab.. bs aham shay your clean... you are clean right?

Najla: Dina! Ofcourse I am what the hell.

Dina: Relax Im just messing with you.

Najla: I'm so glad to be back. My room, my friends.. everything back to normal.

Dina: So did you meet people there?

Najla: Yeah I did but ofcourse I was the only Middle Eastern girl there. The rest were Americans and Europeans.

Dina: Mmmm cool.. So school tommorow.. Are you going?

Najla: Yeah why wouldnt I?

Dina: Are you ready to face it all again, Isnt it too soon?

Najla: I think 3 months is enough thank you.

Dina: Well good. Anyways Ive gotta go It's family lunch at my grandmothers house.

Najla: Oh right. Listen thank you.. for everything. *hugs dina*

Dina: Babe I did nothing.

Najla: Yes you did, you stood by me and you didn't judge. You were there for me when I needed you most.

Dina: I love you!! *muwah*

Najla: Love you more!!

Dina: Ok I'll wait for you by the school gate tommorow.

Najla: Yeah ok great.

Dina: Yalla unpack and call me before yoy go to bed.

Najla: Haha I will bye.


Najla unpacked then her parents took her out to a welcome home dinner. They had a wonderful night. It wasnt awkward or silent like this morning in the car. They laughed and talked and enjoyed eachothers comapny. When she got home she jumped into her Pj's and called up Dina, and they chatted on the phone dicusing everything that happend to them over the 3 months that they were apart.


THE NEXT MORNING...


Najla woke up feeling fresh and enthusiactic to be starting school again. Surprisingly she missed studying. Rehab had nothing to offer her excpet lunch hour when she would communicate and catch up with her friends and the garden which had a wonderful waterful. She would often go there to be alone with her thoughts. It got boring at times since she would only see her friends during lunch hour, the rest of the time she would be in a one on one session with the doctors. She what have 6 sessions a day then by the time she was done with them it would already be 11 pm meaning she had nothing else to do except sleep. This was her daily routine for those 3 months. It was hell not having her parents or friends there with her. There was no one there to support her, it was her against the drugs. She sometimes got letters from her parents which would be the highlight of her day, but other than that it was total bordem.

She got up, showered then got dressed. She wanted to feel new so she straightend her hair. Applied a bit of mascara and lipgloss and got her outfit ready. She wore a black barmoda jeans with a white polo shirt and black converse. She missed how she used to dress, in rehab they gave her this type of uniform. red pants and a white short. It was hidiouse she felt like a monster.


AT SCHOOL...

Dina: HEEEEEEEEEY !! *MUWAH*

Najla: Ahhh hiii... I missed you!

Dina: Haha me more.

Najla: Where's manal ?

Dina: Umm.. I dunno I havent talked to her since yesterday before you came.

Najla: Wait I'll call her.

*Dialing Manal*

Manal: Heeeheheheheh stop! hello?

Najla: Manoola hey.. Im here at school where are you.

Manal: Oh Im in class hehe shh!

Najla: What are you doing haha?

Manal: Nothing.. listen I gotta go but we'll definitley catch up soon.

Najla: Ma--

Dooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooot

*End Call*


Dina: Shfee?

Najla: She seemed busy. *confused look*

Dina: Busy? *another confused look*

Najla: Apparentley..

Dina: Well whatever your back so dont be bumed. Now c'mon lets go get coffe before the bell rings.

As the girls were making their way to the cafeteria they spotted Fahad kissing someone!!
Najla's heart began to race, faster and faster with every blink. She didnt know what to do.

Dina and Najla were standing a few inches away from fahad.. he was kind of blocking the entrance to the cafeteria. Najla couldnt tell who the girl was, with Fahad's big head and all. Dina then poked Fahad on the shoulder..

"Do you mind? Your in our way"

As soon as Fahad turned around Najla froze. Her eyes widened, but not because of Fahad, but because of the person standing behind him.

It was MANAL! Fahad and MANAL! SHE kissed Fahad! MANAL!


Najla couldnt believe her eyes. What she and Dina just saw was something they never expected to happen. Manal stood their with a face defined as oh shit oh shit she saw us what the do we do oh shit.

Fahad stood there just staring at Najla. It was that was for a couple of seconds until one of them spoke.

Dina: Manal what the hell is this?

Manal: Uhhhh... uhhh... I...

Dina: Dont even try..

Fahad: Dina I'm---

Dina: Dont YOU even try!

Fahad: Najla --

Dina: Nah Uh dont even think about talking to her!

Manal: This isnt what it looks like Najool.

Dina: Oh really? Cause to me it looks like you just had your tongue in his throught!

Najla had tears in her eyes but she pulled herself together to not let them pour.


Najla: I see.. was she the so called random girl you kissed at the party?

Fahad: No that was someone completley diffirent.

Najla: Ba3aaaad!

Manal: Najool please understand.

Najla: And you! You know what he did to me 3 months ago. He broke my heart. And during those months you've been hooking up with him? How dare you!

Manal: Naj it wasnt planned we fell for one another.

Najla: How could you fall for him when your away from him? Wait ofcourse you werent away, you qucikley made your move the minute you could. You were always jelous that he was mine, I could saee it in your eyes but I never said anything.

Manal: Well what do you want me to do now?

Najla: I dont want anything from you anymore! Your dead to me now. Were done!

Dina: Yallah let's go babe.

Manal: 7mara!

Najla: Wow.. 3 months did you good.

Fahad: Yeah well it obviosuely didnt do you any good!

Najla: Excuse me!

Fahad: Please dont take your anger out on me. Get some of your stash.

Najla stood there and fel to the floor, and just stared at it. Who? Why?

She stared back up at Manal, who was holding Fahads hand.


Najla: You bitch!

Manal: Sorry Naj but I love him.

Najla: You little bitch!

Dina: *kneeled down next to najla* Get the hell out of here!

Manal: Alright tootles!



Najla: Oh my god Im ruined..

Dina: Babe its ok what could she possibly do, she's nothing. C'mon get up let's get you that coffee.

Once Najla walked into the cafeteria everyone stopped what they were doing and moved their eyes onto Najla. What could they possibly be staring at she thought. A few moments later someone yelled out something..

"JUNKI BACK"

Everyone started laughing up. Manal and Fhad were standing over my the window with no expression on their faces.

Najla bawled with tears ran out.
